GERMANY / Bremerhaven / 2015 / Walking along the Weser promenade at 'Havenwelten'. The 140 m high Atlantic Hotel Sail City with a viewing platform at 86 m is the landmark and tallest building in the city. Nearby stands the Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8В° Ost, a scientific adventure museum. In the background lies the Weser estuary, North Sea, red-white striped lighthouse and the 'Strandhalle', a brick structure. The Weser forms through the confluence of the rivers Fulda and Werra in Hannoversch Muenden. With a length of 452 kilometres, it is the fifth longest river in Germany.
