GERMANY / Lower Saxony / Nienburg / The popular Nienburg weekly market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday in the pedestrian area 'Lange Strasse'.
In November 2008, the market was chosen as most beautiful weekly market in Europe by the 'Lebendige Stadt' Foundation. The first weekly and grain market was held on the church square in 1821.
