GERMANY / Bremen / 2015 / Adorned gable of the old Bremen City Hall and the Roland Statue on the market square.
In 2004, both city landmarks were declared to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Built in Weser Renaissance and red brick Gothic, the municipal building is the seat of senate and mayor of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. The Roland was made of limestone of Elm mountain range and erected in 1404.
